ADRA Japan is an official charity of Tokyo Marathon 2025 Charity.
The Tokyo Marathon Foundation has now announced that the Tokyo Marathon 2025 will be held on March 2, 2025.
With the slogan “Let’s Convert Your Love for Running into Someone’s Happiness”, it has a charity program called RUN with HEART, and ADRA Japan is one of the Tokyo Marathon 2025 charity recipients.
The application form for donations and charity runners will open on June 25 at 11:00 JST. For those who wish to run the marathon as a charity runner for ADRA, it is necessary to pledge 150,000 JPY or more. The runner will be selected based on the amount of the donation, passion for charity, and the relationship with ADRA.

Applications Schedule
Donations and applications for charity runners will be accepted from June 25at 11:00 JST. Donations will be accepted until August 30 at 17:00 JST, and charity runner applications will be accepted until July 10 at 17:00 JST. Please visit the official website, select ADRA as your charity and apply. We look forward to receiving your application.

Usage of Donation
Your donations will be used for ADRA’s activities to provide assistance to people in need. In terms of emergency response, your contribution will help people in Ukraine, Gaza and other places in crisis. We will also continue support education for children in Zimbabwe and Nepal. The livelihood improvement in Mongol will also be one of our projects.
Your support will be a hope for those who are in difficult situation. If you are interested in how we are working on the ground, activity reports are available on our website.
How to apply
Visit the Official Website of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity “RUN with HEART”, select ADRA and proceed to the application. At this point, we will ask you to fill out a questionnaire that includes your planned donation amount and your passion for becoming a charity runner. We will accept applications if you pledge to donate 150,000 JPY or more.
If we receive more applications than we have allotted, we will give priority to those who have pledged a higher amount.
If the donation amounts are equal, we will consider your answer to the questionnaire of STEP 1. If we need more information to decide, we will consider the donation history and relationship with ADRA Japan.
To those whom we decide to offer to be our charity runners, we will send a notification e-mail with instructions on how to pay the donation.
Although the email says the deadline for payment of your donation is August 15, ADRA requests that you make your payment within three days of the notification.
Once your donation has been confirmed, you will receive an entry ID and password to register for the Tokyo Marathon as a charity runner.
Please note that if we are unable to confirm your payment by the deadline, our offer to welcome you as a charity runner will be canceled.
Using the entry ID and password you received in STEP 3, please complete the runner registration procedures on the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Official Website. At this time, you will need to pay the Tokyo Marathon 2025 Entry Fee (160 USD) and Packet Pick-up fee if you wish to use the service.
The date of the event is March 2, 2025. You are making a difference in your life.
